About Me:

My name is Kimberley and I’m the face behind HiKo Hounds. I have been walking dogs as a career since November 2019 and I am also fur-mama to 2 American Akitas, Hiro and Koda who keep my heart happy and my hands full!

Hiro and Koda are both reactive dogs and I understand how hard it can be to find a network of people to accept them for the characters that they are. I am passionate about finding ways to work with owners to ensure that your dogs needs are met during their time with me, whatever those needs may be.

Drawing on extensive experience of working with both my own and client’s dogs, I can offer a unique, professional and personal service beginning right from your doorstep.  My mission is to ensure the best experience for your dog(s) by providing a service that is tailored to their individual needs. No two dogs are the same, so why would the service I offer be the same for all?

I understand that not all dogs are comfortable in certain situations, be that around other dogs, people or in specific locations such as walking near busy roads.  This is one of the many reasons that when you book a session with me, you can be certain that only your dog/s will be walked so that they have my undivided attention.

Of course, your dog doesn’t have to be reactive to join my clan. All dogs are welcome and all dogs, whatever their character or needs, will receive a service that provides them with exactly what they need!

I am DBS checked, insured, hold a Canine first aid certificate and can provide equipment such as leads and long lines where required.
